To make informed decisions regarding their market, clients, and employees, organizations often look for ways to collect information about their people. This could include learning about their experiences, motivators, or needs, just to name a few.

In the spirit of April Fool’s Day, I thought I would write this month’s blog post on how to NOT do HR. Here are what I believe to be some of the most common misperceptions related to people practices in organizations.

In C1C’s February blog post, we discussed survey fatigue and how to avoid it. Among the tips were 1. take quick action on the results of the survey and 2. communicate the goal and outcome of the survey.

The use of surveys in the workplace have been growing in popularity over the years – which is great! We love the interest companies are taking in supporting their employees and letting their voices be heard.
